WALT  Explain what a word means what I think word means.

Word	What I think this word mean	What the dictionary says
Describe	I think this word means describing the features of a thing, person or a place.	give a detailed account in words of.
Compare	I think this word means taking two things and seeing what is the difference	estimate, measure, or note the similarity or dissimilarity between.
Length	I think this word means measuring an object from end to end to see how long it is.	the amount of time occupied by something.
Occur	This word means something  that took place. Example the accident occurred at about 3:30 pm	happen; take place.
Evidence	To show proof to backup your answer. For an example, if you finish your work you can show the work to your teacher for evidence.	the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid.
Knowledge	It means you know stuff that you learn and keep it in your brain, like prior Knowledge	facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.
Examine	Taking a test that can challenge your knowledge of what you have learnt.	test the knowledge or proficiency of (someone) by requiring them to answer questions or perform tasks.
Weight	It is a measurement of an object or a human being.	a body's relative mass or the quantity of matter contained by it, giving rise to a downward force; the heaviness of a person or thing.
Evaluate	I think evaluate means like judging on what you did.	form an idea of the amount, number, or value of; assess.
Justify	this means to show or prove or be reasonable.	show or prove to be right or reasonable.
